The Drucker Institute is an unparalleled resource. Closely aligned with the Drucker School of Management, the Institute preserves, promotes and enlarges the legacy of Peter Drucker.

On one level, it is the archival repository for all of his books, writing and thinking over a more than 60-year career as a teacher, consultant and management thought-leader. On another more important level, the Drucker Institute ensures his management philosophy—“the Drucker Difference”—is alive and making a difference in today’s business world. Its mission: “strengthening organizations to strengthen society.”

Scholars from around the world come to the Institute. So do executives for workshops to unlock their creative and leadership capabilities. The Institute gives out the Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation each fall to organizations that live up to Drucker’s definition of innovation: “change that creates a new dimension of performance.” The Drucker Playbook for the Public Sector gives managers of city agencies tools to improve organizational effectiveness.

For students, the Drucker Institute provides an endless source of knowledge and inspiration. By offering such distinct services, it models Peter Drucker’s philosophy and shows them how to change the world.
